Natural Gas Fire Pit

In order to create a beautiful fire pit you must a fuel source, natural gas is the most common installation in Omaha and surrounding area because it is so widely available and cost effective. Most burners are able to function of either liquid propane or natural gas within the same burner. This makes them more cost effective and accessible. The majority of the fire pits that Omaha Landscape Design builds are created from Highland retaining wall and freestanding wall units. Other options are available but these provide the most cost effective and ascetically pleasing results.

Natural gas fire places done by Omaha Landscape Design are started with a permanent gas valve which is turned on by a gas key to allow for easy and safe ignition. When igniting a gas fireplace or fire pit it is recommended that you use a long handled lighter to ensure the safety for the user.

All of our connections are done by a licensed plumber to ensure the highest level of quality and safety for us and our customers.

Propane Fire Pit

Although propane is not as common in the Omaha metro area some of our rural customers use liquid propane for heating their house, garage, or simply for their barbeques and heat lamps. When using liquid propane the same results as natural gas can be accomplished on a limited basis. At Omaha Landscape Design we are provide several different styles and shapes of burners. A star shaped burner has been the most popular recently. In the past many of our customers have received a circular shaped burned to help provide an evenly distributed flame.

Wood Burning Fire Pit

Although not as common, this fuel source for fire pits and fire places is the most cost effective of all. This method of fire starting is not a simplistic or effective as with natural gas fire places and fire pits. It does allow for the true outdoors smell and feeling of a log fire.
